If your club is a Wessex affiliated club and you need to notify me of changes to a contact for the club, add a new exhibition date etc., please email the request for change to me. The easiest way for me to update the site for such changes is by simply copying it from an email and pasting into the relevant page.

Data Protection Act - policy statement
The Wessex Association does not collect or collate personal data for release to third party organisations and manages the data it holds in a responsible manner. However to assist inter-club communication and Association publicity / liaison we do publish contact information relating to individuals, including displaying that data on this web-site. We also do so from time to time in relation to forms, the layout register, exhibitor publicity & in the show guide for the exhibitions etc. In accordance with the DPA requirement to only hold and publish the minimum information required contacts are recommended to only send their Club Name, own name and an email address or telephone number and not a postal address for display on the web site.in the Club Register Section
Anyone putting their own name forward for inclusion on the list of club contacts should note that their name and other personal details will be published by WAMRC. If the name you are forwarding is not your own please make the sure the nominee is aware their data may be published and also add the following in the notification to WAMRC of the information. .
"I am forwarding this personal data on behalf of [enter name] and they have been made aware that these personal details will be published by WAMRC, including an entry on the Association web-site."

Equal Opportunities Policy - The Committee of the Wessex Association of Model Railway Clubs state that there is no discrimination on the basis of age, gender, sex, disability or racial origin in events and meetings organised directly by WAMRC. All persons are welcomed at our events and are invited to offer to assist in roles within the organisation within the broadest umbrella interest of railways and the modelling of them. Although the WAMRC does award various trophies from time to time these are designed to recognise improvement in modelling skills and are therefore inclusive rather than exclusive and elitist!
Our web-site is being overhauled to improve web access issues in the page content, fonts used, and for speech brower compliance etc.
