1.0 Public domain release forms
The documentation here has been prepared for, and published, by WAMRC as aids to clubs. The documents are made available freely to all as draft starting points for your own group's to use. However we would appreciate the following acknowledgement "Based on an original document from the Wessex Association of Model Railway Clubs" being added to your revised versions. The content is provided to aid adoption of best practice principles within the model railway community.
1.1 Exhibition Risk Assessment
Our Generic Risk Assessment document was finalised in spring 2006 and adopted by the group at the business meeting on 1 July 2006. It was agreed that it is to the common benefit of all model railway clubs, whether they are WAMRC members or not, to share expertise when evaluating risk; therefore a copy is freely available on-line for all to view.
We welcome feed-back comment from all readers so that the document can be improved and enhanced where new risks and new solutions to managing that risk are identified. If other clubs wish to submit their alternatives to build an on-line Risk Assesment library space will be made availble on this web-site for that purpose.

1.4 - Guide to the Electrical Regulations covering exhibition halls/model railway shows. PDF format
A new edition of the IEE regulations (The 17th Edition") will be published taking effect in June 2008 with significant changes covering all public exhibtions etc. As this document will therefore cover all Model Railway Shows our responsibilities as organising bodies also changes. As our hobby is not exempt an Electrical Regulations supplementary note has therefore been prepared to supplement our Generic Risk Assessment.
