The WAMRC member clubs agreed at the 2008 AGM (26 Jan 2008) to establish a new on-line resources section.
Shared public resources
Our Generic documentation page contains details of resources prepared on the WAMRC's behalf but openly made available. The critical topic documents are all now available. These are -
Member club only resources
The Layout Register. This has been maintained for many years and a copy is available to all clubs joining WAMRC. This is to be added as an on-line resource during 2008 with password controlled access. It is a listing of layouts or other modeling displays available for exhibition. Layouts from WAMRC member clubs or individuals within WAMRC clubs may be listed. The register form is available on line as a printable pdf.
New in 2008 - Skills & Demonstrators register. To be compiled. This is to be added as an on-line resource during 2008 with password controlled access.
Part One - A register of members able and prepared to assist fellow club members overcome modeling issues.
Part two - From the above a listing of those members prepared to attend clubs either on club nights or at exhibitions to give a teach-in or act as demonstrators.
New in 2008 - Members e-mail and resources group. ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WAMRC_railway_modellers_forum )
This is within the Yahoo Groups system as a closed group with "invitation only" controlled access. All members of paid up WAMRC Clubs may join. To do so please apply to the web coordinator/Promotions Officer. (section updated 29 Mar 2008)
All the above member only facilities are available to members of all Wessex Association Clubs.
